WPB Library Foundation Recognizes Giving Society Members at Private Event

WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (Mar. 11, 2021)West Palm Beach Library Foundation Board Member Josephine duPont Bayard hosted a private event at her home for Giving Society members on March 6, 2021.  The event was a celebration of the committed supporters of the WPB Library Foundation, and featured an exclusive performance by Legends Radio’s Jill and Rich Switzer.  The Library Foundation raises funds to support the vital programs and services at the Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach that serve and strengthen the local community.

Ms. Bayard remarked, “As a library volunteer and ambassador of this outstanding institution, I have witnessed first-hand how our library changes the lives of children and adults every day.  The support of our Giving Society members allows us to continue these transformative public programs.”

“Our Giving Society is the cornerstone of the Library Foundation. We wanted to take a moment to recognize these devoted supporters and thank them for their contributions and service to their city library,” said Dean Dimke, WPB Library Foundation executive director.

The West Palm Beach Library Foundation Giving Society is comprised of dedicated individuals who invest in the Foundation’s mission by providing critical financial support for the Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach.  The Foundation raises funds for the Library to provide free quality programs, services, and resources such as job help, homework centers, and cultural programs that serve thousands in the local community.  The Giving Society consists of four recognition levels, starting at a minimum annual gift of $1,000.
