WPB Library Foundation Hosts Giving Society Reception

WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (Feb. 25, 2021) – The West Palm Beach Library Foundation hosted an exclusive reception for its Giving Society members at the Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach on February 20, 2021.  During the evening, guests celebrated Black History Month with special guest speakers West Palm Beach Mayor Keith James and celebrated local author Bonnie Glover. The event was hosted by Dianne Bernstein, Foundation Board Member.

WPB Library Foundation Board Member and event host Dianne Bernstein shared, “The mission of the WPB Library Foundation is the creation of an inspired community, allowing children to excel and adults to thrive. We are grateful for a growing number of Giving Society members who fuel our efforts.”

 “This event was the first of many Giving Society events that our Foundation will be hosting to bring together our most dedicated library supporters. We celebrate the inspirational and educational programs like Black History Month that our library delivers to the community,” commented Dean Dimke, WPB Library Foundation executive director.

 The West Palm Beach Library Foundation Giving Society is a committed group of individuals who invest in the Foundation’s mission by providing critical financial support for the Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach. The Foundation raises funds for the Library to provide free quality programs, services, and resources such as job help, homework centers, and cultural programs that serve thousands of children, teens, and adults every day. The Giving Society consists of four recognition levels, starting at a minimum annual gift of $1,000.

 Guests at the Giving Society reception included:  Mayor Keith and Lorna James, Bonnie and Craig Glover, Dianne and Abe Bernstein, Josephine duPont Bayard, Beverly Myers, Natalie M. and Ralph Alvarez, and Ava Parker.
